Dr Allan Fong is an esteemed ophthalmologist in Singapore with more than 25 years of experience in public medical service, and has received his 20 year Long Service Award at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC). He left the SNEC to set up Angel Eye & Cataract Centre in July 2024 after completing 9 years of dedicated service as the Head of the Cataract & Comprehensive Ophthalmology Department.
Graduating from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1999 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Dr Allan Fong was awarded the university’s prestigious Gold Medal & Book Prize in Ophthalmology. He holds multiple postgraduate Ophthalmology qualifications including MRCOphth (London), FRCS (Edinburgh), and a Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) from the NUS. Dr Fong has also completed the Refractive Surgery and Cornea Fellowship at the Singapore National Eye Centre.
